Phil is a Director of Children’s Physio SA and has over 20 years’ experience working in senior roles in Paediatric physiotherapy. He is and is the immediate past National President of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, the peak body representing physios and their patients in Australia.

He has worked in several senior roles within SA Health, including as Head of Department of Physiotherapy at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Phil also has over 15 years’ experience in private Pediatric practice in Adelaide, interstate and overseas.  In 2023, Phil was appointed as an Adjunct Associate Professor in Physiotherapy at Flinders University.

Phil’s clinical areas of particular interest include musculoskeletal and sports injuries, children’s pain, developmental conditions and rheumatology conditions in children. He is highly experienced in casting and splinting management, including Ponseti management of clubfeet.
